Optimized to meet teleprotection requirements, MiMOMax Synchronous Protocols provide low latencies designed for category 1, 2 and 3 teleprotection. Our radio links can also be cascaded to cover greater distances.
MiMOMax Synchronous Serial ports also provide electrical isolation between the radio and the interface to prevent ground loops and ground noise problems.
Our Tornado point-to-point links support the following sync serial interfaces at 64, 128, 192 and 256 kbps:

One-way serial latencies can be as low as 2ms in a 50kHz channel, 4ms in a 25kHz channel, and 8ms in a 12.5kHz channel.
Being a fiber optic interface, C37.94 does not conduct electricity and is therefore most commonly used for teleprotection applications. We recommend running teleprotection across a 25kHz channel at 16QAM using C37.94, however, we can provide teleprotection options using X21 and RS422 if you require integration with legacy equipment (i.e. during a leased line replacement where the existing relays are to be retained).
