As part of our focus on the development of engineering skills in New Zealand, each summer Mimomax offers a 10-week internship program at our Christchurch office.

Part of Callaghan Innovation’s R&D Experience Grants, the program involves four students working on practical, real-world projects for Mimomax which enhance their applied experience in their field of engineering.

This year’s student projects ranged from building web-based applications for use in daily company operations through to the design of automation tools for testing equipment.  By completing the 10 week internship, the students not only contribute a practical component to their engineering degree but they also gain valuable real-life experience of working in a technology-based firm on applied engineering projects.
