Paul Reid has over 25 years’ of experience in the development of professional communications equipment. Having spent 15 years at Tait Communications as a Senior Engineer, Paul specialized in receiver and modem design in digital radio within Tait’s Advanced Technology Division.
Paul’s keen interest in innovative communication technologies led him to Mimomax where he spent five years in the position of Principal RF Engineer, responsible for RF Engineering and Manufacturing. In the last five years, Paul shifted into more sales-based, customer-facing positions – initially based out of Houston as Mimomax’s Director of Technical Sales and more recently as General Manager of the organization’s North American operations, based out of the Mimomax office in Phoenix. Paul returned to New Zealand with his family towards the end of 2019 and now leads Mimomax’s growing global team out of their headquarters in Christchurch.
Responsible for Pre-and Post-Sales Support, RF Engineering Services and Operational Client Support Services, Fabian joined Mimomax in November 2017.
Bringing extensive experience in Service Delivery, Fabian comes to Mimomax following 10 years in the Utilities industry where he was responsible for Technical Field Services. Prior to this, Fabian worked in IT Support and IT Project Management environments for various clients in the Government and Banking industries in The Netherlands.
Responsible for the release of implementation for many innovative products at a series of multinational customers including Logitech, Siemens Medical, BMW Automobile, Renault and Toyota, Kok Heng Loh joined Mimomax in December 2007 as the Projects and Systems Manager.
Now the Chief Operations Officer, Kok Heng’s key responsibilities at Mimomax include planning and managing the entire product creation process from product specification through manufacturing to customer rollout. Furthermore, Kok Heng is responsible for ensuring the programme delivers against objectives, within budget and timeframes and to agreed quality.
With close to 20 years’ expertise in RF Hardware, FPGA and Signal Processing, James Dowle is one of the original members of Mimomax Wireless. Following graduation from the University of Canterbury with a Bachelor of Engineering (Hons), James spent five years at Tait Communications working in the research team prior to his move to Mimomax. Initially focused on digital hardware, FPGA and signal processing, James held the role of FPGA and Hardware Team Lead at Mimomax prior to taking on his current role of Development Manager in 2019.
A former CEO of law firm Minter, Ellison, Rudd, Watts and a former partner of professional services multinational, PriceWaterhouseCoopers, Mike Schubert brings a broad base of business expertise to the Mimomax Board.
With a series of directorships at key New Zealand organisations, including Silver Fern Farms and government agency, the Financial Markets Authority, Mike has high level experience of [financial governance, accountancy and risk management]. Mike is a qualified Chartered Accountant and an associate member of the Institute of Directors.
David Wade joined the Mimomax Team as an interim CEO and Executive Director in January 2016 and was appointed Managing Director in February 2017. Prior to this appointment, David was a long-term employee at Mimomax’s sister company Tait Communications.
With 16 years as CFO as well as 7 months as Acting CEO, he was the Chairman of Mimomax from 2007 through to 2012. David therefore brings a wealth of financial and commercial experience, market knowledge and his previous experience within MWL to the organisation.
As Chief Executive Officer of Field Services Management SaaS company, vWork, and former Executive Director and CEO of hardware technology company, Phitek Systems Limited, Roy Moody brings over 20 years’ experience with successful technology-based, export businesses.
With a background in Engineering, Roy puts a strong focus on innovation in design, product development and processes. He also managed the very successful sale of Phitek to a New York Stock Exchange listed technology company in 2017.
Roy has a track record of exploiting new and existing markets to deliver profitability and brings significant experience in building scalable and sustainable businesses.
