MiMOMax Wireless' product family has been recently ceritifed by:

  • Federation of Communications Commission (FCC)

MiMOMax Wireless announce that their Link Radio Units have been certified by the Federation of Communications Commission (FCC), for Parts 15 & 90 of the Code of Federal Relations (CFR) 47.

The FCC certification covers both 25kHz and 12.5kHz channel spacing, and the report results for both channels were outstanding. An independent test house was commisioned, and returned a test report showing very good performance in both 25kHz and 12.5kHz channels, with almost total absence of spurious emissions.

Needless to say, the MiMOMax team are extremely pleased with these results, especially as obtaining an FCC endorsement allows them to offer their products to wider range of international markets.  Although MiMOMax did not foresee any issues arising, by commissioning an independent product evaluation it is expected to increase customer trust and reinforce the integrity of their product families

Chief Technical Officer, Doug McConnell reports:

"The almost total absence of spurious emissions is not a surprise to the design team. We were designing a technically sophisticated product for mission critical applications and so we had little choice but to design in performance, ruggedness and reliability throughout the product. The EMC shielding, thermal design and mechanical robustness is evident as soon as you look inside the product. Of course it is rewarding to have an independent assessment confirm that you have met your design goals."

  • Industry Canada (IC)

MiMOMax Wireless' product family has also been certified by Industry Canada (IC), as a result of the successful submission of a product test report.  Testing was again, undertaken by an in dependent test house.

In the case of the IC compliance, the MiMOMax team were particularly pleased with the prompt, trouble free completion of the test report and certification issuing.

  • Spectrum Impact Assesment (SIA) within Australia

Lastly, but not least, MiMOMax Wireless' Network Digital Link (NDL) met the Australian Communications and Media Authority, Spectrum Impact Assessment AS/NZS 4295-2004 standard, for 450-470MHz frequencies.

Therefore, the MiMOMax Wireless NDL is now certified for the AS/NZS 4295-2004, which is specifially applicable to the Australian Communications market.
